Leconte to return for WTC 2010

Flamboyant tennis entertainer Henri Leconte has announced he will be returning to Adelaide for the World Tennis Challenge 2010. Leconte played a major role in the success of the inaugural tennis exhibition event as he teamed with fellow countryman Gael Monfils to dazzle bumper crowds at the historical Memorial Drive location.
In 2009 Henri ventured to Adelaide with close friend and fellow legendary tennis entertainer Mansour Bahrami. The two tennis comedians had the huge crowds in hysterics as they combined some amazing tennis skills with constant on-court humour.
Leconte is a long time visitor to Adelaide, having been a regular player in the previous Rio International Tennis Challenge. During his ATP tour playing days, Leconte’s major achievements were securing nineteen ATP singles and doubles titles, reaching a career high ranking of number 5 in 1986 and a runner up finish in the 1988 French Open.
Henri Leconte had this to say about his upcoming visit to Adelaide in January 2009:
"I can't wait to be back in Adelaide. I loved coming down for the first World Tennis Challenge and I am looking forward to playing in front of the great crowds at Memorial Drive"
